Adventure awaits you in this rustic getaway, situated between Whangarei and Waipu the cabin is a perfect base to explore stunning Northland. With room for the boat, the cabin was built with comfort in mind whilst taking in the beautiful views. Enjoy outdoor dining on the deck whilst watching the sunset over the mountains or a glass of local wine by the fire pit. There is also an outdoor kitchen including a bar fridge and BBQ for your convenience. We are pet friendly upon approval. The cabin is warm and cosy with a comfortable queen bed and couch to relax on. The couch can be made into a pull out bed upon request, great for small children. The kitchenette is located under cover, on the deck with basic cooking facilities including a bar fridge, BBQ, cutlery etc. There is an outdoor BBQ table overlooking the fire pit and peaceful surroundings.

Staying at Susan's wee cabin was lovely. It was as described and had everything I needed. She was friendly and helpful and it is a peaceful location.

Great little spot for a few days away,private and peaceful,not to far from town and well equipped with everything you need.
What a dreamy spot! Lovely cabin with all the amenities you could need. Well equipped semi outdoor kitchen, we enjoyed cooking and eating out on the verandah. When it got dark, we got cosy in the cabin and watched some TV before bed! The cabin is exactly as described/photographed and we were treated to some delicious feijoas, grown on the property! Susan is so friendly and helpful, keen to share local recommendations and generous without check out times as it was my mum's birthday. I would definitely stay here again!

Conveniently located at the head of Whangarei Harbour just 5 minutes to the nearest boat ramp, perfect for great fishing and recreation that the area has to offer.
Easy parking for a cars and access for boats (upon request).

Myself (Australian), Abraham (New Zealander) and crazy cat Sparky live in Mangapai, New Zealand. We have both traveled extensively and really enjoy experiencing new things, meeting new people and having lots of laughs along the way. We also love to come home and spend time with Sparky - who honestly is the funniest little kitten who also loves to have fun and be a little crazy too. We love Airbnb and staying within the community!
