Overall I highly recommend Keven's place. Here are some insights: Pro: - great little suite with direct access to backyard and beach - amazing views to river and the mountains - very clean - good amenities such as access to kayaks, bbq, backyard, beach - super friendly hosts Cons: - location is advertised as downtown, but it's not. You're about 25 minutes walking distance to shops and restaurants. - on the last day we saw a new sign telling us the dogs were not allowed on the lawn. We thought that was unrealistic and the lawn looks okay but not that great to start with. - the owner runs a kayak/canoe business right from his backyard and you may see strangers standing right outside the window of the suite in backyard, which happened to us. - the tv doesn't support chromecast and we had to do a factory reset so it connects to the internet. Spent at least a couple of hours setting it up. you may also have to log in to your own streaming services I give them a solid 4 out of 5 stars

This would be a fantastic place to stay in the summer located right on the river with all of the river toys available. We were a bit disappointed the hot tub didn’t work as that was one of the reasons why we booked this spot but we understand these things happen.

We seemed to get mixed messages from the owners about whether dogs were allowed on the huge lawn area, with one host asking us to keep the dogs off the grass and the other host letting our dogs play with his own dog on the grass the next day. This was somewhat frustrating since we booked the suite specifically to let our dogs run around during a long road trip. That aside, the location is one of the best in Kamloops, right on the river, and there is a large private beach area accessible right from the lawn where the dogs are able to run. There are also lots of kayaks etc that would be great for a summer stay, especially for families. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming throughout and the decor and atmosphere in the suite is very good.

Keven was a great host and helped us to feel right at home. We booked his air bnb for a small wedding elopement and we were relieved to find his backyard looked just like the photos. It was the perfect backdrop, and a bonus that we could have our dog with us :)

Absolutely loved our stay! The hot tub, mountain view, sandy beach and river were so peaceful and beautiful. The home was clean, cozy and nicely decorated, and the host Keven was very friendly and accommodating. He showed us the suite and made sure we were settled in. We didn't use the kayaks but plenty were ready on the beach if we wanted. Highly recommend your stay here if you are looking for a relaxing getaway 😁
