Located in Fame Residences along EDSA in Mandaluyong City, this 1BR abode is ideal for staycations or professionals needing a central access to Metro Manila. A well maintained condominium complex with a luxury hotel feel as you walk through the lobby. The unit has a full kitchen and bathroom with hot shower and washing machine. The integrated living and dining area is furnished with a 4-seater dining table and couch. The bedroom has a queen size bed and also features a space-saving convertible desk/drawer and single bed. Ideal as office desk during the day, turns into an extra bed at night! The unit is located on the 26th Floor of Tower 1, facing amenities and a great view of the Makati skyline (amazing view on NYE!). Sandy was a great host. We loved the city view towards Makati, and the beautiful sunsets. The hot water was very good and we could take nice warm showers at 38 degrees. The AC is cool and quiet. The internet is DSL and gave us about 40Mbits/s down and 20MBits/s up. It was reliable enough for my wife and I to both work remotely. The unit is small, like all of the studios in Fame, but it was enough for us. The location is very convenient, with a supermarket downstairs, and it's just a short walk to the big malls. The #1 thing we didn't like are the window blinds. They don't block the light at all. Also, the level of cleanliness could be improved. There was a lot of dust, cooking smells, and also a lot of hair in places like the mat and the sofa. It could benefit from having a deep clean. There were also many cockroaches. We know this is normal for Manila condos. But many other Fame units have a door seal rubber strip to block roaches from entering. This could be a useful addition.

What a great guest to host! So easy to communicate with, and left the place clean and tidy. Would recommend to any other host and would welcome back at the property any time.

The condo is situated along EDSA (corner Mayflower Street) offering a central access to pretty much everything. Upmarket shopping centers like Shangrila mall is only a 5-minute walk, and a little further down is SM Megamall. Establishments located at the ground floor of the building are: Alfamart, Savemore, Watson, BDO, Popeye, Starbucks and some restaurants/food places.
If you don't feel like going out, simply order through apps like Food Panda, Grab Food, etc. There's a whole heap of food places you can choose from!
Pretty much everything you need is walking distance away. You can also get on the train through the MRT Shaw station, or take taxi/uber which are available round the clock to take you anywhere you need.
