My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights with our two cats. I think everyone was a little disappointed we had to leave because it was more peaceful than we could have imagined. Private nature trails in your backyard, back porch on the water. It's like a dreamland really. The cabin was clean, cozy, and felt at home immediately. Our hosts were more than ready to answer any questions we had, but they set us up so well that we didn't really need anything. Overall it was a perfect vacation from the chaos of life, and we would definitely do it again.

Amazing place! Exactly what we were looking for. Even with it being off grid, we felt no lack of amenities. Our two dogs had the time of their lives and we will definitely be back soon.

My husband and I were finally able to get away for a delayed honeymoon and this cabin was the best decision! Between the amazing hosts, (who went above and beyond in making us feel comfortable and happy), the beautiful scenery and serenity, the warm cabin, and the farm fresh eggs; I didn’t want to come home! (Tried talking the hubs into staying another night but our other two dogs miss us). We brought two dogs with us and they had a blast running around the wetland property. The croaking frogs and hooting owls at night were my favorite. My husbands favorite was being able to fish anytime he wanted to with the pond being right outside the cabin. We stayed 6 days so we definitely had to hit up the gas station/travel center about 4 miles away, where there were two showers with towels if we needed them. SUPER AFFORDABLE TOO! I’m not a newbie when it comes to showering on the road and you can’t complain about a $5 hot clean shower. I can’t wait to come back during the summer!
