Wow what a find! We have visited this area many times but this is our first stay at Hectors House. Cosy living room with a wood burning stove for chilly evenings. The kitchen was awesomely well equipped , the best of all cottages we have stayed in. Rachel is a fabulous host and was there to meet us when we arrived. If you love peace and tranquility this place will be for you. We’re looking forward to going back soon.

We were given a lovely warm welcome to Hector's House by Rachel (complete with a cream tea, eggs and dog biscuits!), and found the place to be a perfect quiet base for exploring the area. We had everything we needed, and the dogs felt right at home.

Hector's House is a perfect, cosy hideaway for any weather. Rachel is an amazing host. She gave great recommendations for the local area and was on hand with helpful tips for anything we needed. The house is really pet friendly and our dog enjoyed the home without restrictions. Comfy bed and sofa, smart TV, plentiful hot water for baths, and a kitchen decked out with everything you could want. We really loved our time there. Thank you so much, Rachel! Hector's House rules!

Wir verbrachten 4 Nächte in Rachels Unterkunft. Rachel ist super nett und zuvorkommend. Es gibt in der Umgebung sehr vielfältige und sehenswerte Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. In der Unterkunft gibt es sehr viel Infomaterial über die Region. Es ist sehr gemütlich, und urig eingerichtet. Vorallem der Kamin hat uns sehr viel Freude bereitet.
