Melissa’s lakeside cabin was everything and more that we were wanting/expecting. Peaceful and full of everything you need to enjoy the lake.
Melissa does the absolute best she can with with the remote location she's tasked with running. She's also very good at describing the importance of safety. More emphasis needs to be placed on bringing everything needed to the remote location. Possibly a backup plan for emergency power or tree removal as we did that to get out. Overall I give her a 90% because I am mostly prepared.
This is a beautiful location and so peaceful. It is off the beaten path which is exactly what we were looking for. We loved the hot tub, canoes, corn hole, ring toss, and movie collection. It is super quiet. We would definitely stay there again!
This is a very private neighborhood and one of the few located on the Lake. This lake is owned by the TVA and is part of the National Forest system. Quite time in area is 10pm-8am. No littering and please do not leave any fires unattended. (There is a hose under deck by the fire pit to put out fire/embers when done or a fire extinguisher under the deck if an emergency)
Once you enter gate,
You stay straight till Lake Drive. The driveway is steep and you will park to the left in front of house. The right side is the commons area for boats in neighborhood.
