The tent was everything a person could want and more. Like a private five star hotel. So beautiful, safe and with such lovely hosts. I think the best way to sum up our three nights is the reaction of my husband, the tough type, who after the first day hugged me and said “thank you for bringing me here” with tears in his eyes.
This was the best anniversary trip we have ever had and could have easily stayed another week. You have everything you need and much more at this beautifully designed glamping tent. The space is perfect and cozy and warm at night with the tiny wood stove, and it’s cool and breezy during the day. Probably the nicest bathroom and shower that was SO CLEAN. We never left the whole stay. Just cooking out on that awesome grill and taking in the truly magnificent view. We even had a rain storm day but the tent still stayed cozy and dry. Sitting on the front porch allowed for quite a view of the weather systems ending with a full arched rainbow! Who needs Netflix when you can binge watch the mountains. Matthew and Darice are the most thoughtful hosts who care so much about their guests and their place which is meticulously maintained. Truly the most genuine hosts. We HIGHLY recommend! Stay as long as you can. It’s absolutely worth it!

Everything was perfect at Starry Safari!!! We can’t wait to come back. I have stayed in countless Airbnbs and I can honestly say, I have never had better communication…ever. No one was checking in the next day and we were offered a late check out. We had absolutely everything we needed. We had a little snafu with the grill. I texted, and literally within 5 minutes it was taken care of. I have told all my friends about it and thay are already looking it up to come stay

I can't take all the credit for the "Starry Safar"i (our vacation rental). My wife (Darice) and I host this together. She actually does most of the work, but this is a dream we both shared and this is a place we both built with our own 2 hands (with help of some family). When we aren't enjoying the mountains, or traveling by land to explore new places, we cruise on our sailboat. We love nature as much as we love a good challenge!
