Soak up the spacious modern room in the heart of the 7 acres organically grown garden/farm land. The owner comes from an interior design background and UTOPAI was created with a vision of designing a modern ethical living space in harmony with nature. You will stay in a space which provides modern day comforts where we have landscaped and harvested; tropical flowers, herbs, medicinal plants, fruit trees. Surrounded by variety of wild local birds, natural stone boulders. The accommodation is a bright modern open layout surrounding with a large stone/rock & with lots of different areas to relax inside or outside. Surrounded by many edible organically grown fruit forest and a few minutes walk to the creek/stream. There is only 1 private bedroom upstairs in the whole house. The other guests from 2 other houses on the property will also have access to use the living space downstair as shown on photos! There are 3 Abnb houses in total. We strive to provide all the amenities you need for the perfect stay.

Verblijven bij Mon is een mooie en speciale ervaring. Het huis is helemaal open gebouwd zodat je in de huiskamer en keuken mooie interactie hebt met Mon en andere gasten. Het terrein is heel groot met veel verborgen plekjes, heel veel comfortabele zitjes en een geweldige extra bad bij de rivier. Ook het gedeelde zwembad is heel lekker met mooie plekjes om afkoelend te zonnen. Mon geeft veel tips en mooie verhalen. Samen met haar man bouwen ze steeds verder door aan een utopische plek. Kortom een aanrader als je naar Pai gaat, met de auto slechts 15 minuten naar het centrum. Perfecte plek!!
Het is een paradijs hier! Ik zou hier zo kunnen wonen 😍 Alles is perfect. Het voelt heel huiselijk, het is sfeervol, letterlijk ALLES is er wat je nodig hebt en zelfs meer. Het zit 15 minuten van de stad af, maar dat is het waard. Niet nadenken, gewoon doen!
We absolutely loved our stay! Mon was a great host and the place is even more beautiful than in the photos! We felt like we were at home since we arrived, and all of the amenities listed were provided and in good shape! There were even more amenities that surprised us! The property is very large, gorgeous and well-maintained, with a stream and plenty of places to relax. The room is a unique loft that was very comfortable and with a lot of natural light, and even though the main space is a "common area," it felt very comfortable and private. The pool is well-maintained and quite refreshing, and trying out steamroom is definitely worth it! While it's about 10 mins from the center of Pai, it's not hard to get to and it's nice to be in a private area. It was very easy to scooter to and from the main area of Pai. Mon was a great host! She is very friendly and helped us with everything. We would definitely recommend staying here to all of our friends and hope we can return!
Mon's place was beyond expectations. As nice as the photos are, they hardly do it justice. It is straight out of a fairtytale and you will be very pleasantly surprised. The place has everything you could want and more, super nice for chilling, working, spa day, or just winding down after a day out exploring Pai. Seriously, don't hesitate to book this place! You will not regret it. Aside from the place itself, Mon and Cliff are the sweetest. They were very responsive, helped with anything we needed, gave great recommendations, and are generally super cool people. They made us feel very at home and are a big part of what made our stay so special 😊 Would highly highly recommend!!

Our property is just 3 mins scooter drive to the nearest local village small shops, 3 miles to a largest waterfall in Pai "Mo Paeng falls”, 9.3 miles to Sai Ngam hotsprings, 4 miles to Santichon Chinese village, 4.7 miles to Hyunlai veiw point, and 4.6 miles (15 mins scooter ride) to Pai walking street/nightlife/downtown center.
×××The total area of Pai is 866 square miles, or 2244 square km, its ideally best to have your own transportation to get around.

Please try to use Aya bus service instead of a normal bus, (many reported accidents lately). We highly suggest to travel during the day light. Or use a taxi service for a night driving directly to Utopai.

*1500฿=Depending on availability & timing, 4days minimum advance booking/payment, Pick up from Chiangmai between 8am-6:30pm, Pick up from Pai between 11am-2 pm. Maximum 3 ppl+lugguages.
*1800฿= pick up from Chiangmai between 6:30pm-9pm . Pai between 7-11am (Driver stay at Pai hotel the night before.) Maximum 3ppl + lugguages, 4ppl with small bags only.
*2200฿=4ppl +lugguages.
*2800฿= 5-10 passengers, a private minivan.
*Car rentals, depending on which month of the year, best to hire from Chiangmai on a website, eg, kayak. Currently car rental in Pai is out of operation.

There is barely any traffic to get around in most places, accept inside Pai city center, esp. in a rush hour.

Greetings my name is Mon Tang. I am a happy go lucky, a Thai lady living in Pai, a qualified interior designer graduated from London. My love of traveling has taken me all over the world, but I always love coming back home to the charm of Pai. I’m blessed to call Pai my home. I spend lots of time on permaculture gardening, landscaping design and like to spend my free time with our pets that keep me smiling and entertained. My partner, Cliff is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. He has also fallen in love with the beauty and serenity that Utopai provides and relocated here since 2016. We have travelled many places in the world and now enjoy have the world come to us! We have seen our fair share of hotels and Airbnb houses on our travels. As a host, We can’t wait to show fellow travelers the same great hospitality that we have had across the globe.
