Welcome to Cincinnati's Peaceful Tudor! It is spacious and offers a full en suite bathroom. The bedroom is airy with a modern queen platform bed and matching bench, a large closet with hanging storage cubbies and shelving as well as a full length mirror. A hospitality station is found in the dinning room which has a refrigerator, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. It is a 12 minutes drive to downtown Cincinnati and within walking distance of the College Hill Business District. The Cincinnati Peaceful Tudor is on the 2nd floor of a 90 year old Stone Tudor which is beautifully crafted and full of natural light. You will be sharing the space with me, my husband and our two dogs as well as possible other guests. Parking is on the street (free). We suggest you park on Llanfair (not Belmont) which is on the back of our property and is a 1 minute walk. Ample parking is available. The entrance is through the front door of the home which is a keyless entry. You will be provided with a code to enter once you have booked. We encourage you to reach out if you need anything. We are committed to making your stay as comfortable and enjoyable. Check-in time is 3PM, and check-out time is 10AM. We will do our best to accommodate your schedule if you need an earlier check in. Please let me know your expected check-in time. We have two dogs which are very friendly and will be staying with us downstairs in a separate area. You shouldn't encounter them unless they are outside in our backyard which is fenced. We ask you not to feed them or open our gate in order to keep our dogs happy and safe. There are three guest rooms at the house, the Cincinnati Peaceful Tudor being one of them. We request all our guests to be respectful of each other and refrain from smoking or noisy activities. Please let us know if noise levels are ever a problem and be prepared to hear from us if other guests complain about your room. House Rules Please protect the space, so that many more guests can enjoy it too. Please keep the door to the Cincinnati Modern Tudor Retreat closed and locked. Please refrain from smoking inside. Please refrain from excessively noisy activities. Please be mindful of the owner’s items decorating the space.

Bethany and her husband are super friendly and interesting to visit with but will also respect your privacy as well. It’s comfortable and quiet and a great value too! College Hill is a historic neighborhood of Cincinnati with many homes dating from the 1900s from small cottages to mansions. Many sidewalks grace the streets which provides an enjoyable 10 minute walk( or 2 minute drive) from our home to the College Hill business district which is thriving and offers fantastic food and drink. Sleepy Bee Café serves breakfast, brunch and lunch; locally roasted coffee from the new Luminary by La Terza Coffee Shop; pastries both savory and sweet from El Camino (Sixteen Bricks Passion Bakery) and of course Brink Brewing for an award winning, locally brewed beer. Other great food and drink options within the College Hill Business District include Tortilleria Garcia which is Mexican Food, Becalls Cafe which is American Food, Kiki which is Japanese Food (just featured on T.V.) as well as the new bar Big Chill.
5 minute drive will take you to Northside which is another neighborhood of Cincinnati that is very diverse and eclectic. Many breweries, restaurants, bars, clubs and vintage shops are located here. A quick mention of some of our favorites:
- Melt Revival, healthy and delicious food with vegan offerings
- Urban Artifact Brewery, specialize in sour beers and always have a bonfire outside
- The Comet, bar with great food and live music
- Blue Jay, breakfast and brunch food
10 minute drive will take you to downtown Cincinnati which has many, many restaurants, bars, clubs, parks, theaters ,museums and of course the Reds Professional Baseball and the Bengals Professional Football stadiums. The new FC Cincinnati Professional Soccer Stadium is also within a short 12 minute drive.
Parking is free and is on the street. We have a driveway which you will be able to use to check-in and check- out but no parking is allowed. Our backyard is gated and we ask you don't open our gate as we have dogs. We suggest that you park on the Llanfair Street, which is on the back of our property and is a 1 minute walk.
