Please respect the private property adjacent to Cumbres Cabins property. The property line is generally marked by the aspen trees on the East and West sides of the property. National Forest may be accessed by crossing the RR tracks to the South of the cabin. Guests are not allowed access to areas of the neighborhood across the river. Please don’t cross the small bridge to the North (which is only visible during non-snow months and is completely covered by snow in the winter.) Guests and members of the public have access to a 25’ easement along the river through the subdivision and the opportunity to continue enjoying the Rio Grande National Forest outside the subdivision.

First-time guests are encouraged to check in during daylight hours for easiest access to this mountain property. Parking is available at the cabin during the non-snow months. Guests must cross a cattle guard at the main entry gate. Subdivision roads are not reliably plowed during snowy months, so guests may need to park off-site and access by snowshoe, XC ski, snowmobile, etc.
