This place is a diamond in the rough. When we drove up the yard was in poor shape but once we opened the door the Place was a diamond. perfectly clean, stocked well, lovely kitchen, great communication with Erick and the homeowner. We were grateful we didn't judge this book by its cover.
Perfect for us!
Had a great week long stay at Erick's adorable basement space. While there is less natural lighting due to being in a basement, the home has smart lights which can change brightness and color which make the space super cozy or suitable for working. Make sure to check out the google home devices to change the lights. The kitchen was well supplied with all the necessary items to cook several great meals. It was super nice having the in unit washer and dryer during our ski trip. Bed was comfy, couch was supplied with many cozy blankets and was excellent for curling up after a long day on the hill. Upstairs residents were very quiet during our stay to make it peaceful. The space has ample storage space for clothing and hanging wet ski gear. Airbnb is close to both canyons for skiing and has good access to grocery store and is also super close to a recreation center with a nice pool ! Overall, had an excellent stay here and would definitely book again if I am ever back in SLC.
Erick’s place is simply great. The place is not too big and is in the basement of a house (all accurately listed in the listing), but it is perfect in many different ways. It is in a great neighborhood to begin with - quiet and easy to get around, close to skiing and whatever else we needed. Also close to a park where we were able to take a nice walk. The apartment is very cozy and quiet - upstairs neighbor very respectful and we hardly ever heard anything. The place is spotless and professionally cleaned. Great layout with couches and dinner tables. All the appliances you need is there - washer, dryer, vacuum cleaner, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, hair dryer etc. Kitchen is also quite well stocked - salt, pepper, spices, oil, coffee etc. basics that you can think of, as well as basic tools such as can opener. The host is very responsive and accommodating. She was very communicative and understanding and made arrangements for us. Much appreciated!
