We loved the property nestled on a very secluded portion of the river however we had to wade through high weeds and brush to get to a walkout area on the river. Upon arrival we noticed that the outside of the home was covered with spider and cob webs. Once inside we had to get rid of more stink bugs and spiders than we could count and suck them up with the vacuum nightly before bed. There were lots mouse droppings in cabinets, pots and pans were hanging over the oven connected by cob webs and in such terrible shape that no-one should be cooking in them (made a trip to walmart for paper plates, cups, foil pans, etc.) My husband had to kill a wasps nest on the deck before we could enjoy it. The deck and eve over the deck were covered in spider webs and nests. There were no covers on the electrical outlets with wires hanging out of several of them. This home has clearly not been taken care of and is in desperate need of maintenance & repairs but has a tremendous amount of potential.

What a beautiful location! Truly peaceful. Nearby the Luray Caverns. The cabin is indeed very cozy and has a lovely view of the river. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Lindy was a great host. When I asked if there was a crockpot she said there was not but she was happy to go purchase one for our stay. Would definitely rent again. The trail along the river was a great hike and we also walked up the long driveway one morning and the views were spectacular. Thanks again Lindy!
