This 4,000 SF 3-story+attic luxurious home boasts two large open plans with living spaces, state of the art kitchens, dining rooms, freestanding wood stoves , cedar sauna, steam shower, a whirlpool built-in jacuzzi and home theater systems. Retreat to this contemporary designer home nestled on 24 acres of pristine woodland with one of the best views of the Blue Mountains in the Catskills. Upon entering the space from the main exterior staircase you will be greeted by a vast open plan living room with 25' high truss ceilings. To your right you'll find the built-in mudroom where you can leave your shoes and outdoor gear, change into slippers (we provide) and start your relaxing getaway. We have put endless thought and considered every detail to create a space for rest, reflection and reconnection. We hope you feel at home and enjoy your stay. This home was designed to connect to its extraordinary site. The public spaces all have floor to ceiling glass to open outwardly towards the mountains beyond while the private bedrooms face the opposite side of the property and have beautiful narrow windows to induce surprise, privacy and contemplation. On this main level you'll find the main living space with a home theater, woodstove and vintage record player, a state of the art kitchen with a master dining room to seat up to 12 people overlooking the woods and a bedroom with a queen size bed and full bath with large shower and crawl tub. Adjacent to the dining area you will find the baby grand piano. If you play the piano we ask kindly that you play it with great care. From the living room you can access the largest deck of the property that houses another 12 person dining room table under a designer custom made shaded pergola. On this expansive wrap-around deck, overlooking the blue mountains you will also find an outdoor shower, lounge and sun chairs for relaxing or taking the sun. Upstairs via our reclaimed wooden and steel staircase you will find 2 master bedrooms and the master bath. Here you will also find our yoga/ contemplation room with a fireplace overlooking the mountains. The spacious master bedrooms have lush king size beds and have daybeds and the possibility to sleep comfortably children or a friend at an additional cost. There are built-in wooden reading nooks, stunning custom-made balinese closet doors and wooden barn doors throughout the spaces. All bedrooms have high-quality ultra comfortable mattresses, luxury bedding and lovely views straight out into the woods. Most bedrooms have office space, built-in wooden shelves and generous closet space. The refined travertine and terracotta master bath has a tub, 2 sinks and a magnificent steam shower. If you continue up the stairs you will find an attic space with an additional daybed. On the ground floor (which also has a separate ground floor entrance) you will find a complete apartment. Here there are 2 bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with a king and twin size beds, a designer bathroom, built-in sauna, an additional kitchen, dining area and living room. The newly designed ground floor kitchen showcases wall to wall windows with magnificent views of the mountains. Enjoy cooking with friends or a loved one in the sun-drenched gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances. The kitchen also blends locally sourced reclaimed wood and has a beautiful spacious concrete kitchen island. Both kitchens are equipped with everything you might need to cook or have a cup of coffee enjoying the peace. This open space hosts another large dining table (seats 8) and has two sliding glass doors that lead to the 2 outdoor porches. The small porch is perfect to lounge or have an 'aperitivo' while enjoying the sunset from the Acapulco chairs. The second, screened in, large porch houses an outdoor dining area. The lawn area right outside the house has a fire pit for your use. During summers a barbecue is also available to enjoy the outdoors. Please read the house rules attentively before using these amenities. The built-in spa concrete bathroom accommodates a whirlpool jacuzzi, a rainfall shower, and a 2 person concrete sink cast in place. You will be provided with bath amenities: such as aromatherapeutic natural soaps, bath salts, fresh towels and slippers to make you feel pampered and relaxed. The built in Finish cedar sauna looks straight out towards the woods of the ground entrance. This sauna was custom built to comfortably seat 4-6 people and is a perfect way to relax and detoxify. Gently throw water on the hot stones to reap the moisture and unwind. The natural smell of the wood is wonderful! Each large open plan has a home theater which exhibits 6'x8' remote access screens and projectors with many options of preloaded apps. We have a subscription to Netflix, Prime, HBO and Hulu. Spotify is also available and has access to Music that can be heard on the same surround system speakers. The house has excellent internet connection throughout (although we hope you won't need it!). The space was designed sustainably to preserve heat in winter and stay cool in summer. There are solar panels on the roof and the entire home has radiant heat to warm the space evenly. In addition there are split units in every room in case you need additional heat and/or for A/C in summer.
