We had an amazing stay at the retreat. Swimming hole on the property was amazing for kids. We will definitely come back. Cell reception is spotty through out the area but that is a blessing in disguise :)

Definitely rustic and could use some updating, but overall we had a good time. Saw a ton of deer and quail. Enjoyed what’s left of the River. Saw a ton of shooting stars on the clear nights.

Great cabin in a beautiful location! We had 7 folks staying here and there was room for everyone. Living room is especially well equipped to handle such a large group. Laurie and Greg are so nice and helpful.

The stay was great, old quirky cabin was nice and everyone there was super friendly. We had an unfortunate safety issue in our cabin our last night there but it was taken care quickly by the on call staff.

This is a funky older redwood house, but quite a good value considering its location next to the river and state park. We were here for a family get together and all enjoyed the place; the location and natural beauty can't be beat. The house has everything we needed with plenty of kitchen cooking and eating utensils. Accomodation was quiet and peaceful. Fortunately there was enough water in the Navarro River to dunk and soak...since the river was barely flowing, there were algae blooms in the larger "holes"...so goes the drought.
