Had an amazing time! Christopher was very helpful and responsive. The home is beautiful and spacious. Location was great! No issues finding parking in front of the house that was a plus for me!

ON THE DAY of check-in, the owner informed me the thermostat was set at 69, and there was a $250 penalty for adjusting it without permission, or extra $50 for modify with permission. I contacted Airbnb to complain, they were surprised as this information was NOT mentioned in the property description. Airbnb assured me that they would prevent any extra charges if any. In the meantime, we bought 4 portable heaters from Walmart to keep the apartment extremely warm and returned them at the end of our stay. Also, there was a $1,000 extra charge if I wanted to invite someone not on the guest list, and the owner would monitor with a camera with sound at the entrance of the apartment, which was very creepy and uncomfortable. I felt like these important informations should have been disclosed in time giving me the option to book another place with better temperatures flexibility. Being honest and forthcoming in the air Bnb world is not an option is a necessity. Also, the WiFi is weak.

Chris is a superhero wether he knows it or not, Me and my family were traveling the east coast for the week and we were rained out in Washington DC and we were going to pack it in and just make the journey back ,at the last hour and the last minute Chris saved our vacation and made sure we had a place to stay for the night and the opportunity to tour Philadelphia during the day,I would recommend eight millon times Chris as the host to book with.
