Lounge features comfy reclining chairs, 50" smart TV, extensive selection of board games and books. You'll love the separate downstairs retreat, complete with 2x bunk beds (bottom doubles, top singles), movie projector (smart TV enabled with Netflix/ Disney) with soundbar and subwoofer. A new heatpump keeps the space comfortable all year round. A full size table tennis table, and arcade machine with over 3000 classic games will keep you all entertained. Gordon was such a helpful host and the Airbnb was more than what we expected! There was lots of games to play as well as the table tennis table and the arcade machine which were lots of fun! We wish we had more time staying here but we will definitely be back!
great home away from home! hosts were super helpful. peaceful location with sound of the sea! unfortunately didn't spot Kiwis on our trip but managed to see Waipoua forest and kauri museum. def recommend this place!
We love our stay. A beautiful spot a lovely homely space. Our young teens LOVED the games room and movie space below. We had some fantastic beach time and an amazing sunset on the beach. The weather was a little cloudy on day two but the amazing space at Gordons ment it was perfect to pop back and have some fun and games family or movie time. Such great communication and Gordon really was the host with the most with a few treats kindly left for us on arrival. Absolutely worth it. Our family of 5 loved our stay!!!

Really enjoyed this family friendly house - absolutely loved all the board games and so did the kids. Beautiful area with spectacular sunsets that you can see from the deck 😊

Very quiet street with a mix of permanent residents and baches. Youll notice the relaxed pace of life here, with very friendly locals. A truly undiscovered gem, with the convenience of the local shop/ restaurant/ bar a short walk away.
Youll be able to drive on the beach with any vehicle (even nanas hatchback) but you will be restricted to low tide only. 4WD is preferable, but not a must. Kids will love the freedom of riding their bikes around the quiet streets, or any of the many cycling tracks detailed in the house book. Plenty of coastal and bush walks in the area to relax your mind in
