The house itself is 100 years old and was lived in by only two families prior to us purchasing it. It has original crown molding, flooring and doors which guests have found to be so charming. The Forbes Manor home is essentially three stories, with a second living space on bottom (where we will be staying), living room/kitchen/shared bathroom/guest bedrooms on the main floor, and then your room up the stairs on the top. There are stairs to the front and back entrances of the home. There is a huge park right across from our house, as well as a beautiful cemetery and the friendly people in this neighborhood have lived here for 10-20 years and beyond. The White Sage room is thoughtfully decorated with a private half bathroom attached to the master suite. A shared full bathroom is on the main floor where guests can shower. There is a California King bed and a trundle with two twin sized beds, so four people could comfortably stay. Hot water is abundant, and we like to keep a bundle of dried lavender hanging in the shower for a soothing spa-like experience along with essential oils. Previous guests have loved the mood and scents in our home.
