The Nest was one of the most beautiful and tranquil places we have ever stayed. The location was simply magnificent and central to everything we wanted to see and do in the Northern Rivers Region. Victoria Park was a bonus and so close by – a natural forest enhanced by the continual singing of birds – it felt very special. And, just down the road, the quaint town of Alstonville with excellent coffee at E.S.P. Espresso in the main street. We felt so fortunate to have stayed in such a high quality, clean and beautifully appointed accommodation. We had everything we needed and appreciated the host’s attention to detail and the treats that made us feel so welcome and ‘at home’. It was an exceptional place to stay and it was always a pleasure to come back to after a full day out and about. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

We loved our stay at The Nest, it is the best Air BnB we have stayed at. It was so private with the outlook from the lounge and bedroom of cows, paddocks and trees in the distance. The main house is a fair distance away and there are shrubs in between, which added to the feeling of privacy. It was so quiet and peaceful, all you could hear were cows and birds, it was exactly what we were looking for. In fact, we cancelled some trips we had planned so we could spend more time there. It is beautifully furnished and has the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The lounge was comfortable, too. We have such lovely memories of The Nest and hope to return there again soon, it is such a magical place.

We stayed Christmas Eve and Christmas night - it's a lovely place, convenient to our family in Alstonville, much quieter, more spacious and with more amenities than the motel. We spotted wedge tail eagles soaring over the house the afternoon we arrived - fabulous. We'll stay again the next time we're in the vicinity.

The Nest is a beautifully-decorated, secluded cabin with a modern country feel and stunning views. We spent a week in this gorgeous, peaceful setting, which allowed us to completely unwind and enjoy our time away. Margaret was very friendly and accommodating, taking the time to ensure we had everything we needed. The surrounding areas are such a pleasure to explore. Thank you so much for having us - this is officially one of our favourite holiday spots! Highly recommend

We had a beautiful stay at The Nest. Stunning scenery, very quiet and private. Marg was a great host and couldn't do enough to make our stay perfect! The Nest had everything that we could want for our two week stay. We would definitely recommend this stay to anybody that wants a quiet getaway.
