The room: Enjoy a cozy single bed, a desk for getting work done, an auto-locking door for added safety, as well as an oversized, swivel-mounted, smart TV. If you’re here for work, we have amazing fiber Wi-Fi. You can even bring an HDMI cord and hook up your laptop to use the TV as a double monitor. There is a closet with hangers and shelving to keep your things organized. Your bathroom is attached to the laundry room and is completely private. It comes with plenty of storage and a hair dryer. The bed: This cool, dark basement room is equipped to prioritize high-quality sleep with blackout blinds and a white noise machine as well as a nice, new, comfortable mattress, fluffy pillows and duvet, and extra blankets. The shared spaces: You are welcome to use the kitchen and laundry room, including the fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, stove, and filtered, reverse-osmosis water from a spigot at the sink. We also have a washer and dryer, laundry soap, and an iron. The kitchen has the basics for cooking and eating simple meals. Your room has a dedicated cabinet in the kitchen where you can store any food items you might have. The backyard is beautifully landscaped with patio furniture and a fire pit. Getting around: The home is centrally located in the heart of Orem by UVU. Whether you are here for work or to ski at the beautiful Sundance resort, this place is close to everything you could need. It’s very close to the Orem front runner station which takes you right to the airport and more and there is a bus stop close by. There are plenty of great restaurants and grocery options near by including a Cafe Rio, in-n-out burger, Aubergine, Trader Joe’s, Costco, Target and more. Even the University mall is just a short distance away. The property: Our home is split into a duplex, with one apartment on the top floor, and one apartment in the basement. Each apartment has its own separate entrance and kitchen. This room is located in the basement apartment and you will share the kitchen, living room, laundry room with other travelers in the other two rooms in the basement. We have provided white noise machines and televisions in each room so that even though there are other guests on the property, you will feel like you are in your own little oasis.
