We spent a week at Deon's place. It is a great little bungalow about 10 minute's walk from the train station (and maybe 15 minutes from the beach). The area of Bonbeach is quiet and mostly residential. There is a grocery store within walkable distance, and a few restaurants and cafes (and a huge pub). There's also a nice route down to the river via the wetlands for those who like to run. We were on a budget for this stay and I feel that it really represented good value for us. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a spacious living room and dining table available to guests. Worth noting that Deon prefers it if guests cook vegetarian meals - we didn't have an issue with this, as it was a worthwhile challenge, but it might be a bit harder for others with less flexible taste. We enjoyed a two week stay at Deons - the house is located close to the beach & shops which was incredibly convenient for us. Deons home is lovely a clean, it has all the appliances you need to have a comfortable stay, it felt very homely. The only slight improvement i could suggest would be an aircon unit in the bedroom :) Would definitely stay with Deon again in the future.

Great location, nice homely décor which matches the signature beach cabin vibes. Deon was a friendly, proactive host and always willing to lend a helping hand where need be. I would give a solid recommendation.
