Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Close enough to the civilization to feel safe yet in a little world of its own. Near to Altoona, but still in the woods. This property is the old kettle nursery location. The brick house on the hill is the owners residence. The gravel driveway to the left leads to the cabin. In the cabin there is a nice sized main area with a small kitchen and sofas. Down a hallway is a door to the outside and a laundry. To the right is the bathroom and bedroom which are adequate size considering the smallness of the cabin.

We had an awesome stay while we fished the area! Super peaceful cabin, quiet and private. Super clean with everything you need! Will definitely stay again the next time we’re in the area!
this cabin is perfect for a quiet relaxing getaway. The fire pit outside was a huge plus. there's so much nature around and it met all of my expectations! I would love to go back.
Such a lovely little cabin on a beautiful piece of property. We really enjoyed the wildlife and domesticated animals we saw across the property. We also loved the fire pit and outdoor space. It was private, clean, comfy, cozy, and quiet. Such a great place to unwind and relax and we hope to visit again soon.

The Little Cabin is only 5 minutes from the boulevard of Altoona. There are many unique attractions in the Altoona area including the famous Horseshoe Curve and the Railroaders Museum. Altoona and the surrounding region has dozens of excellent dining options, shopping and more!
Only 45 minutes from Penn State University in State College.
