Titirangi Retreat is a stylish space where you can feel at home. Titirangi is the Gateway to Aucklands stunning Waitakere Ranges & West Coast beaches, a haven for nature lovers, surfers & hikers! The World class Titirangi Golf Course is 2 mins drive, or settle in & enjoy the big screen smart TV. Set in a botanical setting with views of the Cityscape, you are close to the lively Titirangi Village, brimming with art, culture & delicious dining options. 25 mins to Auckland CBD & Airport. You will feel right at home as soon as you arrive at our mid-century home; tastefully decorated and surrounded by an array of flourishing indoor plants & artwork. Enjoy stunning views of our beautiful subtropical gardens & native trees from every window, as well as the captivating city skyline, beautiful day & night, rain or shine! The living area is light & spacious, opening out to your own balcony to soak up NZ's flora & fauna & native bird life. There’s plenty to keep you entertained with a 62" Smart TV offering Netflix & local channels. We have a great selection of books, board games, and magazines for your enjoyment as well as fast Wi-Fi if you're WFH. A heat pump / air conditioning unit keeps you comfortable through Winter and Summer. The fully equipped, modern kitchen is perfect for longer stays, with a washer/dryer for your convenience & the breakfast bar doubling as a workspace. Tea, milk & Nespresso coffee machine with capsules provided. The main bedroom looks out on to the garden & features a comfortable new double bed with cotton linen, electric blankets & and a woolen duvet. There’s ample wardrobe space to unpack. The single bedroom is accessed off the main bedroom and is light and sunny with a cozy single bed and great views! There is also a toddler air mattress OR porta cot available if required. A cute wee retro ensuite bathroom is located off the main bedroom as seen in photos, please check the size is adequate. You are welcome to enjoy our expansive subtropical gardens at the back of our property and there’s a trampoline for the kids.

We stayed with Kyra for four nights at the end of an eight week trip around NZ; in total we stayed in 27 different accommodations and this was one of our favourites ☺️ From start to finish Kyra was warm and welcoming and responsive, thoughtful, flexible and kind. The space is very clean and beautifully styled, with two comfortable bedrooms and a cosy open lounge with comfy sofas and a great TV. We explored the beaches (Karekare and Piha) and Auckland city, both just half an hour’s drive. For us (two adults, one six year old) the perfect place to relax and restore before heading home.

Beautiful and relaxing. Kyra thoughtfully left us milk, butter, jam, cereal etc which was a big help upon arrival. Everything was wonderful. The bathroom is tiny and might be a problem if you’re older or larger! The garden was spectacular and we felt like we were on a retreat.
A great place to stay in Auckland. We had an issue with the tap in the bathroom but it was quickly resolved by Kyra. Only small issue with the space is that from the spare room to get to the bathroom the person will have to go through the main bedroom. It wasnt a problem really for us as we're all good friends but it might be for others. Besides that everything was excellent 🙏🏼
Kyra is a great host, and her place is beautiful! We loved our stay, in this peaceful setting. The second bedroom is a bit tricky to get to, as the connecting door doesn’t open fully. As the posting states, the shower is fairly tight, but average people will fit fine. Beds are comfy, and space is filled with lots of natural light. Gorgeous!

For travelers, we are located approximately 25 minutes away from both Auckland Airport and Auckland CBD, assuming off-peak traffic conditions.
If you prefer public transportation, the nearest bus stop is just a 10-minute walk away. It takes approximately 1 hour to reach the CBD by bus.
To accommodate your vehicle, we provide a designated carpark at the top of our property by the roadside. You can refer to the listing photos to get a visual understanding of the parking area.

My husband and I live on the property with our three daughters, our Border Terrier Rusty and cat Mimi. We have a caravan and love to take it away camping when we can, or drag the kids on trips to the beach and bush walks. Our house and property is high maintenance so we’re often gardening and doing DIY! I find gardening therapeutic, the DIY not so much ;)
