This place was absolutely beautiful. The pictures do no do the view justice. The skylights in the house and all the windows were amazing. The kayaks and paddle boat were super accessible, there were board games and books in great condition, kitchen supplies and BBQ were clean and ready to be used, pool table was fully functional with multiple pool sticks and chalk. The appliances were also very modern which is extremely underrated. The neighbours were very close by but they were all super friendly. My only regret was not booking a few more nights. 11/10 I would definitely go back.

Lily’s place was a beautiful and peaceful spot. Loved how much natural light there was in the house. It is about a 20min drive to get to major groceries and stores but manageable. Lily went above and beyond to help accommodate my little ones by providing booster and high chair. Her communication was excellent. The water as mentioned by host is potable but takes getting used to so we ended up buying water from the store but just a helpful heads up. Overall a lovely place.

Waubaushene is a town of about 950 permanent and seasonal residents on the shore of Georgian Bay. It is located just off the 400, on Highway 12, about 20 km east of Midland. The town includes a library, several marinas, excellent sports facilities, and access to the Tay Shore Trail.
A car is certainly required to get here, but once on site, you can use a bicycle to enjoy the many local areas trails.
