Our beach-house is located just across the street from Lake Michigan and a few min walk to the beach on 1.5 acres of lush greenery and old trees. Chicago and Milwaukee are both about 1hr away. Relax by the cozy fireplace, play games outside or in the garage/game room, cook elaborate meals in our well equipped chef’s kitchen, then get a full night’s rest in high thread count comfy beds lulled to sounds of nature. Year round golf course, shopping, nature trails, bars, and restaurants are nearby. Newly updated, tastefully decorated, this amazing home has all amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Beds are all memory foam, all high thread count cotton sheets, non toxic bath products and cleaning supplies are used throughout the home. Kitchen which is fully equipped with oven, toaster, water kettle, dishwasher, Reverse Osmosis (RO) drinking water, chef’s knives and all non-toxic PFAS free cooking pots/utensils. We are coffee lovers, so there’s a Keurig coffee maker and a French press. Ask and we will even set up our pour over set for you including a burr coffee grinder to satisfy all preferences. Outdoor you will find a wrap around deck with grill and plenty of seating areas including a porch swing, dining table and a huge fire pit area with adirondack chairs. There’s an indoor fireplace to cozy up next to, in the large family room. We have a heated gaming room garage with bar seating, foosball, 18 ft shuffleboard and a Ping Pong table. There are yard games available including soccer, cornhole and bocce ball. For summer months we provide a beach umbrella, cooler, beach towels and chairs. There are kids toys and games for your convenience as well. A pack and play, baby monitor and white noise machine are also provided. Blender, coffee grinder and toaster oven are available upon request (please request when booking if possible).

Our family loved this place! The home has a great layout and there were plenty of things inside and outside to do. And Cristina was very responsive.
Cristina and Dragos were wonderful hosts. Cristina was very pleasant and easy to communicate with. We needed to add a few more days to our trip - even though we didn’t know until the night before we were going to check-out. Cristina was helpful, flexible and accommodating! The lakehouse is spacious & clean - in a peaceful and private neighborhood! The bathrooms were spotless and the beds were comfortable!! The closets were large and there were plenty of hangers for us to hang all the clothes we needed to and then some! The description online matches the home and all the amenities listed were available! We really appreciated having a washer & dryer because we were not expecting to stay extra days, so having access to the machines was such a blessing! There were plenty of towels provided for my family of 6 and extras in the closet if we needed more. We really enjoyed the home and hope to be able to stay here again!
No pictures or description can do this lovely home justice. Cristina and Dragos are wonderful hosts, communicating proactively and so thoughtfully! Cristina noticed I had an infant in my party and reached out to ask if I would need a crib and set it all up for me. Their house was immaculate and cozy, the perfect place for my family to gather. I look forward to returning to this lake sanctuary in warmer weather!
Wow! Our stay at the Lakehouse was just perfect! The house was massive & absolutely gorgeous- the pictures do it no justice! The kitchen was very well stocked, there were toys for the kids to play with and the beds were SO comfy! The game room in the big garage is awesome- we spent loads of time in there! The house was so clean and felt like a home away from home. This will be our only place to stay every time we come back to visit family!

This is a quaint, safe and peaceful hidden beach town. Centrally located close to basically anything you want to do. It is next to Kenosha WI, just one hour north from Chicago and 50 minutes south of Milwaukee. It sits just over the Illinois/Wisconsin border, close to Chiwaukee Prairie nature reserve and Illinois Beach State Park in Zion IL. Beach, trails, scenic drives, restaurants, bar, fishing, boating, Racine and Kenosha farmers market and Pleasant Prairie Outlet Mall are all nearby. It is also just 20 minutes away from Six Flags Great America, Gurnee Mills and 30 minutes away from Wilmot Mountain and Ski Resort.
Plenty of parking available on the property in the driveway.
