Beautiful cottage in a stunning little town.
We used Alex's home as a base for a relaxing break. It had everything you could possibly need and more. Our favourite was the cosy log burner fire in the living room that warmed the entire home. We will definitely be back!
Wow what a little gem and literally on the castle door step! Alex saved the day with her super fact communication just 18 hours before we arrived after our original plans fell through but this was no second best! Gorgeous little cottage with stunning original features with the added benefit of a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. I would absolutely recommend Alex’s place and would definitely return 😀

We absolutely loved staying at Alex’ place - it is so cosy and comfy and the perfect home to come back to after a long day of walking!! she provided for everything we could possibly want and more - a well stocked larder, enough firewood for the chilly evenings and beautiful views to wake up to. Alex was incredible at responding to any questions we had, both before and during the stay! Would absolutely recommend and will hopefully come again in future :)

Harlech beach is arguably the most stunning in the UK, with miles of gold sand and the Snowdonia / Eryri mountain range as a backdrop. We are located just off the world famous steepest road in Europe- a beautiful old lane leading down to the beach and castle from Harlech town centre. Very quiet tiny street with almost no traffic. 10mins walk to train station, and famous Royal St David’s golf course, also 20mins walk to beach. Several pubs in short walking distance in town, where there’s also nice coffee shops, delicatessens, also a small independent grocer we love! Porthmadog and Barmouth (16 min drive) have more food shopping options, Asda and Tesco also deliver to the cottage via online shopping. Zipworld, Portmeirion and Snowdon / Eryri are a short scenic drive away! You can also walk the coastal path from Harlech to Porthmadog and get the train back- stunning! Criccieth is 35mins drive or train and has the famous Dylan’s seafood restaurant we love! Barmouth has great dining options too, by train or car very conveniently.
