Wonderful retreat for 7 friends! Loved the great dining room for long breakfasts and dinners! Loved the bedrooms! Loved the well equipped butlers pantry and kitchen- everything we needed. Loved the outdoor grounds/ firepit. Great visit to Carlos winery/ brewery Great shopping in downtown Alex! Runestone museum fun followed by a nice lunch at brewery across the street!

We can’t say enough good things about the Starling House! This home is so charming and beautiful! We loved reading about the history of the house! This was the perfect place for a girls weekend - so much space, the kitchen is stocked with everything we needed to cook meals and enjoy them in the beautiful dining room. Not a detail was missed in restoring this home and I hope to stay here again! I will be recommending this to everyone I know!

The Starling House was simply breathtaking! We had a fabulous stay here in December for a work retreat. The home was equipped with everything we needed including a fully stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes, fluffy towels, and the coziest beds. I would highly recommend this home if you are looking for a unique place with a rich history, kind and attentive hosts, and a cozy atmosphere. Can't wait to stay again when we are back in the area!
