The ryokan is super clean and the outdoor onsen has a beautiful view of the forest. At night you can see clear stars and fireflies. The temperature in summer is great. Food is also fresh and delicious. My baby loved the local apple juice a lot. It's near some very famous tourist attractions of Aomori as well. You can take a bus to have an adventure at daytime and go back to relax in onsen at night. K and other staff are all very friendly. We felt very welcomed. We would like to revisit in the future.

This has been one of the most amazing and memorable experience my husband and I had in Japan. I think of it as an experience rather than just a hotel stay. We enjoyed every minute of our stay there, especially our conversation with the owner, Leo. He's friendly and makes you feel right at home. In fact, the entire staff (which also consist of his sons) was incredibly attentive and professional yet personable. The picturesque view from the balcony of our room, the outdoor and indoor onsen, along with the overall atmosphere of the ryokan were all extraordinarily relaxing. Our meals were some of the best Japanese cuisine we had in Japan. It shows that they take their time in creating the meals. The whole meal feels really special, with fresh local ingredients. It's really easy and convenient to reach their location by car or by bus, with the latter dropping you off at the entrance and a short easy walk to the ryokan. We are recommending this experience to all our friends and families, and we cannot wait to visit again soon.

Staying with Leo and K was amazing, and their glowing reviews are well deserved. The onsen is relaxing and the space great to relax. With a car or by catching the bus, you can use the onsen to reach Lake Towada, some good walks and the ropeway. The food was awesome. I couldn't recommend this enough, it was a highlight of my 6 week trip to Japan.

The hospitality was nice! We felt very welcomed and enjoyed our time here! We also booked the dinner, which was absolutely delicious. We stayed 3 nights and visited on our daytrips Lake Towada and Mt. Hakoda - in the evening we enjoyed a relaxing bath in the onsen!
