A wonderfully peaceful retreat for those who simply want to wind down, read a book, cook and eat outdoors, and swim in the privacy of their own pool. The gardens are beautiful and there's the added advantage of having a shady area to recline if it gets too hot. Our host, Mrs Amalia, was so kind and thoughtful too, with occassional cakes left for us in the mornings after she had watered the plants and tidied the outside areas. It's maybe not the place for you if you're looking for a beach holiday as the villa is set well inland and requires a good 90 minutes to get to any of the better, southern beaches, by car. However, why go to the beach when you have your own pool?

Notre séjour dans cet Eden d'une semaine nous a permis de profiter d'une piscine privée dans un jardin fermé avec un environnement montagneux magnifique. Amalia a été adorable et nous a fait nous sentir comme à la maison en prenant en compte nos envies et nos demandes. La ville voisine Perama dispose de tous les produits du quotidien et est à 6,5km seulement. La proximité avec la plage est un véritable plus (15 min en voiture). Le seul bémol : la douche est petite mais suffisante pour les vacances. Merci pour votre Accueil 🙏🍀

Un tres bel endroit, paisible où nous avons trouvé le calme et repos que nous recherchions. Valia et Amalia furent très attentionnées et réactives. J’y ai séjourné avec ma fille et l’une de ses amies, toutes les deux jeunes adultes, qui ont apprécié la villa pour sa beauté, le calme et la piscine. Le wifi est excellent! La situation géographique de la villa nous a permis de nous promener d’Heraklion, jusqu’à Chania, le lagon de Balos, ou la côte sud sans difficulté. Ce fut un tres beau séjour.

We’ve just returned home from a two week stay at Villa Armonia. Our host Amalia was amazing. She messaged us every few days to check all was okay and brought us some of her delicious home cooked Crete dishes to try, which was very much appreciated! The villa itself is compact and perfect for a couple or a small family. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom had everything we needed and the kitchen well equipped. It is so private, we never saw a soul in the tiny village the entire time. We were glad we had the car as the nearest shop is a 10 minute drive away. But that’s what we wanted, total peace and quiet but with the flexibility to go exploring for the day. There is so much to do in Crete and it was great to have this beautiful place to come back to each day to relax. We would highly recommend this beautiful villa, that’s close enough to all the amenities you need for a wonderful holiday.
