The Upper River Medway holds a special place in the hearts of many people. With little development it is tranquil , secluded and wild. An idyllic place where a person can unwind and relax which has changed little in years. Cruising almost silently along "the engine is under the floor in the wheelhouse and has full sound insulation" , you can hear almost nothing" , you will see buzzards, kingfishers, voles, mink , the river itself is like a garden and has lilies and reed beds. There are WW2 relics and Medieval bridges or just the trees overhead with the sun shining through the tunnel of trees whilst cruising along is a lovely sight in itself . If it rains there is a canopy astern over the deck area and you get the lovely pitta patter of raindrops to meditate to. Amble along listening to nothing but the birds and wind in the trees, watching the occasional blue flash of a kingfisher flying by on his travels or just smell the flowers as you pass them bye. All only 45 minutes from London.

Taking a bike onboard is a great way to get around once your in your spot. Paddle boards are great or walk or just stay on deck with a bottle of your favourite and go knowhere.
