Welcome to "The Nest" at Darling Shores! This Two bedroom, One bathroom cabin is located on beautiful Lake Darling which is part of "The Chain" in Alexandria, MN. Alexandria's Chain of Lakes allows you access to five amazing lakes. With an incredible Lake view, dock, and patio area, this is the perfect spot to sit back and relax for your next vacation. The cabin features two bedrooms with sleeping arrangements for up to 5 guests, one bath, an indoor dining table that seats four guests, a peninsula sit up bar that seats an additional two guests, a spacious living area, workspace, Reading nook, picnic table, two Schwinn cruiser bikes, and a firepit. It sleeps five guests across two bedrooms and a hideaway bed. There is a bedroom with a Queen bed, a bedroom with a Full bed and a Hideaway twin rollout. Great place to stay close to town.
It's a nice place to stay. The home is small and cozy. The 2 bedrooms are tiny. If you like a bigger bedroom, then look elsewhere. The decor is awesome! The kitchen has a decent amount of stuff. Zero srasonings beyond pepper and salt. The dock is a great spot to catch panfish. There are lots of views from the dock. We even heard some loons.
Omg I can’t say enough about this place, it’s so cute, very clean and decor was on point. Comfortable beds and I loved all the little extras that the owner left for us. Waiting for us was a lovely welcome note and some goodies to thank us for staying! The view was great and the sunsets were spectacular! Quiet private place but the surrounding area there are coffee shops, restaurants and boutiques as well as other fabulous attractions. Fun bikes at the property you can use and we loved the gourmet coffee that was provided! Overall a 20 out of 10, I will be back again for sure!
