Really liked staying in the apartment & Le Marais all of December. Wandered the area and found great places to eat and drink. The apartment is spacious, unique, comfortable, and fairly quiet (work being done in courtyard can be a little noisy at times). I’d love to rate the apartment 5 stars, but my visit was difficult because the kitchen wasn’t equipped as described. While there were plenty of dishes and silverware, there was no cookware or cooking utensils. I immediately raised the issue and it took 3 weeks to receive cookware—I would wait sometimes up to a day for a response, be told they’d take care of it, and then receive no further response for days at a time. Had to keep asking every few days, and relied on restaurants for food. Despite this, the host was wonderful when the hot water went out and resolved it same-day. I was pleasantly surprised and super appreciative. I’d stay here again if the kitchen is fully equipped—it would be the perfect place to spend a month in Paris.

Although the 4th arrondissement is home to part of the Île de la Cité, the Île Saint-Louis, the Hôtel de Ville and the Centre Pompidou, it is above all characterized by the Marais, one of the oldest and most beautiful districts in Paris. Culture, shopping, strolling and gastronomy: a historic arrondissement with no shortage of points of interest!
The area around the Hôtel de Ville has been a hot spot for the Parisian gay community since the 90s.
The apartment's location means you'll be able to get around the capital quickly and easily, thanks to a wide range of public transport options:

- Metro: Saint-Paul (line 1), a 7-minute walk away
