King’s Tower is at the centre of a delightful small coastal town and was the perfect base for our almost two week stay. The kitchen/dining room and fully equipped laundry room, with a great bedroom, reception room, and two bathrooms made life so easy and comfortable. Then there was the cafe downstairs with great and interesting food and excellent coffee. A five-minute walk took us to the seafront for a stroll or to start a longer walk to the lighthouse. So much was no more than a few minutes walk away, from the supermarket to the Lighthouse Bistro, the Marine Bar, the Bank House gift shop and cafe, and more. Plus we found a real treasure in the Railway Museum’s fascinating 2-hour guided tour (and, yes, cafe). On top of all that, this was a great jumping off point for us to explore the Antrim Coast, refreshing our memories from years ago. Finally, our host could not have been nicer. We are so happy we chose to stay there and just wish we could have stayed longer.
