Frank was a great host (Diana was away wine harvesting). He was super friendly and gave great advice. The room was perfect for a single traveller. The Island is beautiful and well worth a visit. All in all very successful!
Great place. Very clean and tidy, easy check in /out, friendly, close to venue we were visiting. While the bed was comfortable for 1 person it is really only for two people if you want to spoon!
Prepare to embark on an unforgettable journey as you traverse lush landscapes, pristine shores, and a vibrant tapestry of local culture on Waiheke Island. Embrace the slower pace of island life, unwind with yoga on the beach, or simply bask in the serenity of the ocean breeze. Feel the sand beneath your toes on sun-kissed beaches or wander through enchanting forests on the many walking paths, alive with the melodies of native birds, and witness breathtaking vistas from cliff-top lookouts.
Not a nature lover? No problem!
Indulge your taste buds in Waiheke Island’s farm-fresh produce, award-winning wines, and artisanal delights. Sip and savour your way through vineyards, olive groves, and local Ostend Saturday market. We also have a vibrant arts scene, where local galleries and studios showcase the work of talented artisans, from painters to actors and singers.
We’re a 15-minute drive from Matiatia and Kennedy Point ferry terminals, and just a stone's throw away from a bus stop visited by the 502, 50A, and 50B routes - giving you easy access to explore the island. If you’re driving, there’s parking at the top of our driveway.
Palm Beach and Onetangi Beach are both roughly 15 minutes away by bus and 5 minutes by car. If walking is more your speed, we’re just 15 minutes from the Ostend Saturday Market and 20 minute stroll from the wineries, breweries, and distillery on the Onetangi straight.
自我介绍
I moved to Aotearoa New Zealand in 2017 to pursue my dream of becoming a winemaker. I love exploring new places and meeting new people. When not travelling I love cooking, kayaking, and relaxing on the beaches of Waiheke Island with my partner Frank.
