Brathay Fell was stunning. A beautiful home converted to appartments. Luxurious furnishings and fittings complemented the heritage of the building. Plenty of space and lots of cosy areas to rest up and relax. Large bedroom with an incredibly comfortable Tempur mattress. Great location to be based from just a short drive or amble from Ambleside where there is plenty to do, see and enjoy. The Lakes area is so beautiful and surrounded with amazing scenery. Take a trip out to Wainwrights for some great pub food in a wonderful setting. A fantastic stay and would recommend to anyone wishing to visit the Ambleside area.
Ross was a great host. Always responded quickly with clear and constructive advice about any issue. Property was excellent: spacious, comfortable, peaceful, with views to the garden and access to walks with wonderful views and a short drive into town with great restuarants, shops and supermarkets. We enjoyed our stay and recommend the property. Thanks Ross.
1 Brathay Fell was an idyllic space for a mini getaway. The bathrooms were beautiful and the bed was amazing. we recommend having a morning coffee and enjoying the beautiful view. Lovely spacious and comfortable front room too!
The stay was very pleasant and the place was beautiful and clean. Ross and his team were very friendly. My only complaint was that on the last evening there was no hot water so after a day out and about we were looking forward to having a shower on return. We called and explained the situation and even though they tried to address it, nothing could be done that evening. Apart from that we enjoyed the stay at the property.
