Great house in lovely location, superb big garden with spectacular views across and up the valley. Easy walking distance to Chapel Stile shop and pub.

Great location in the Langdale Valley. Beautiful enclosed gardens, good for dogs. Nice selection of local pubs. Property was spotlessly clean and well presented. Stunning views and great walks directly from the property.

Thrang Close is a beautiful house surrounded by an immaculate garden, perched in a valley with panoramic views of the Langdale Pikes. The house was pristine, the beds were cosy and comfortable, there were 4 toilets, and the ensuite to the master bedroom was newly fitted. We are a family of 6 adults and there was plenty of space for us all, and so much to do in the surrounding areas without having to travel too far. An amazing holiday!

This property is also available through a rental company and lacked the usual warm welcome we have come to expect from our stays at independent Airbnb properties. This spacious property is at the edge of the the lovely village of Chapel Stile with its exceptionally well stocked shop, its wonderful riverside walks and access to the nearby fells. The entrance hall has plenty of space for muddy boots & wet coats. The kitchen is well equipped . The dining room is large with wonderful views of the fells. The lounge is in some need of updating. There is a lovely sun room but has insufficient seating . Likewise the garden is amazing but lacking in seating areas. The bedrooms are exceptionally clean with good quality bedding but the layout of them is not as described or as shown in the photos. Both bathrooms are modern with powerful showers and large fluffy towels. A great base if you want to experience a quieter and less commercialised area of the Lake District.
