We stayed 2 nights at Notti Stellate at the end of our 2 weeks in Sicily. The apartment is well located for exploring nearby Taormina and Etna and the location itself is beautiful with a stunning view out over the sea in one direction and up to Etna in the other. The apartment itself is spacious and clean. The main bedroom was lovely but the rest is pretty institutional and lacks soul which was disappointing because it could be so beautiful. There are no window coverings in the main space so not the best for sleeping with outside lighting and the sun shining in early in the morning. Note also that there is another apartment directly next door in the same building. This wasn't clear to us from the listing. Arne who met us was very sweet and available to answer any questions / give assistance.

We spent a week on Davide's agriturismo and had the most amazing time. We stayed in the largest of the four apartments, with stunning views of Etna. Davide was the perfect host: upon arrival we were invited to pasta and a glass of his delicious home-grown red wine. There are plenty of opportunities for guest to interact with Davide; he organises regular wine-tasting and food events, tours of mount Etna, and in summer there's a small concert each Monday evening. At the same time you have lots of privacy and quiet: the other guests clearly also came to enjoy the tranquillity, the only sounds we heard were the crickets and the summer breeze. The house itself is very comfortable, with all modern amenities, and stays fairly cool during the hot summer. We definitely hope to be back! Amazing location, super friendly host, great view of Etna.

Die Unterkunft zwischen schneebedecktem Ätna und Meer ist einmalig. Ende April war zudem die vulkanische Landschaft in voller Blütenpracht.

Tolle Unterkunft und wirklich etwas ganz besonderes. Lockere Betreuung und kein um zehn müsst ihr raus sein. Kinderbetreuung und Hochstuhl? - Kein Problem. Schöner Spot für alle die mal „weg“ sein wollen. Einziger Haken. Die Peletts für den Ofen muss man kaufen, sonst ist es im Frühjahr zu kalt - das sollte im Preis enthalten sein.
