Had a pleasant experience. The owners were friendly. Location is also good as the most of the major beaches like baga and Calangute are 6-8kms away. Lots of trees around added to a cool atmosphere in the summer
We had an amazing stay at Shalom.. Valencio and his parents played a great host and their dogs were so welcoming and accepted us in no time.. We loved how this property looked and felt.. Thank you Valencio
We stayed at Valencios place for 3 nights. It's an excellent property surrounded by greenery. the place itself is spacious and airy with large balconies to spend time taking in fresh air and the scenic beauty around. The property and the surroundings allow you to experience goa in it's natural glory. Valencio and his parents are extremely hospitable, their two adorable dogs were a delight to be around. Rest of Goa is located in commutable vicinity, we had our own car and did not face any issues. The kitchen is well organized and adequate, we cooked our own meals. It was a stay excellent and beyond our expectations. We will not hesitate to visit again and highly recommend Valencios place.
Overall good experience and very sweet host
This is a great place to stay in only if you are looking for a place with traditional Goa feel. Its located in a village called 'Parra'. House has huge living area, good enough bedrooms and a nice kitchen. Two huge balconies adds to the beauty of the flat. Talking about the location, It is not at all near Calangute but the location mentioned is Calangute which is lil unfair. Plus there are no food joints at a walking distance. Basic grocery shop is also at certain distance from the place. Nevertheless this place has traditional feel of Goa with open area surrounded with coconut trees. Its away from the Hussle bustle of the city. So opting for this property solely depends on the feel that a traveler is looking for in Goa. We thoroughly enjoyed it as we have hired a car and there are no issues in commutation.
