The property did not present well, with a pile of rubbish at the front, the grass needed cutting and the garden required upkeep. Inside, the property had see through curtains in the living room, which did not provide adequate privacy in the evening. There was dust on the interior doors and bedroom ceiling fan. The kitchen tap and toilet were leaking, which meant the hot water cylinder was noisily refilling every five minutes or so, throughout the day and night. The shower drain had a blockage, which meant the bathroom flooded if in a shower for more than five minutes. The couch was uncomfortable, and there were no instructions on how to use the TV and air conditioning. The kitchen didn't contain any dinner plates and no condiments, like salt and pepper, glad wrap etc. The bed slats on one of the single beds were broken. Overall, the property requires further maintenance to lift it to a reasonable standard.

Proximity to Westfield Belconnen Shopping Centre is an easy 5-10min walk which suited our needs. First impressions of the property were very poor - front and back gardens were completely overgrown and in desperate need of some attention, there was leftover building material piled up on the front nature strip along with overflowing bins awaiting collection. The property itself is quite old so don't expect luxury, however inside it was clean and had all of your basic needs. The Host was easy to deal with and communicated well, was accommodating to our early check-in request although at a cost.

The House felt like I was in my own home. Decho was very very friendly and responsive. We found exactly what we weee looking for. Will definitely book again.
