This private guest studio has its own entrance and shower room, and is a perfect Zone 1 base for exploring London: Angel tube and numerous buses are close by (5 mins). The Business Design Centre is 2-3 minutes away. Fantastic shops and restaurants are nearby, but you can also fix snacks in the kitchenette area. The bedroom has all the storage you'd need, and there's a smart TV or books for relaxing. This is a superb recharging spot for those who want to make the most of this wonderful city. You have privacy as you access this area of the house via your own entrance, but this is owner-occupied property and I am nearby upstairs. - The kitchenette is well equipped for basic food preparation (including hob and pans), but there is no oven. - There are utensils, cutlery, a plug-in induction hob, pans, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and under counter fridge freezer. - The mattress is high quality, bedding and towels provided. - The bedside tables have plugs and USB ports for easy recharging. - You can log in to your accounts (e.g. Netflix) on the smart TV, but please remember to log out before leaving. The area is fantastic - three cinemas nearby (Islington Vue, Everyman Screen on the Green, Odeon Luxe and Dine...), with the Almeida Theatre and Sadlers Wells a short distance away. Buses 19 and 38 get you to the West End quickly. Angel tube is close by, under 5 mins walk if you're not distracted by the shops on the way! This means that you can get to all other areas of London in good time. Angel hosts most good high street chains (e.g. Uniqlo, MUJI, Hotel Chocolat, Argos) and areas like Upper Street and Camden Passage have a range of independent shops. The restaurants, cafes and pubs are fantastic. The property is also close to the Angel Business Design Centre (under 3 minutes' walk away). The walk along the canal (either west to King's Cross, or east to Mile End) is lovely, and there's a really nice communal garden at the end of the street. The property includes a small library that includes books about London, various themed walks and things to do - if you need inspiration!

Everything about our stay with Ellen was perfect, the apartment was beautiful amd well furnished, the neighbourhood is very good connected with public transport and Islington is a really nice place to stay with lots of restaurants, cafés and small shops. Whenever we had a question, Ellen was extremely fast to respond and was always very kind and forthcoming. We would be glad to come back whenever we visit London again.
Très bon rapport qualité-prix pour un logement dans le centre de Londres ! L’emplacement est idéal et à côté de nombreux magasins et d’une grande ligne de métro. Il y a tout le nécessaire pour passer un week-end. Ellen est très disponible et réactive. Elle se montre soucieuse de comment se passe le séjour 😊
Wir hatten schon bevor wir überhaupt ankamen einen super freundlichen Austausch mit Ihr. Es war sogar möglich ein paar Stunden früher einzuchecken! Die Unterkunft hatte alles was wir brauchten, war sauber und ordentlich sowie in der Nähe des ÖPNVs. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und können Ellens Apartment nur empfehlen!! Vielen herzlichen dank für die nette und stets hilfreiche Betreuung!!
Cosy gem of a small but perfectly outfitted Air BnB with an incredibly kind and helpful host - will try to stay here whenever we come to London from now on! :) Ellen has made a great effort to make you feel right at home - from diff types of lighting and pillows, a full book shelf and much storage space, to a kitchen better equipped than many "furnished" apartments incl diff tea and coffe choices, you'll find everything and more you need. The area is super well connected via busses and the tube and offers a supermarket,shops, restaurants etc within a few mins walk. We ended up meeting Ellen herself who was just as kind in person as her nice and superfast communication via the app before, so we'll definitely be back.:)
We had a wonderful stay! The studio is cozy and the location is great, especially if you are planning to visit the Business Design Centre. We stayed for 10 days and were really happy with everything. Ellen is a perfect host and she made sure we had everything we needed and responded messages very quickly. If you are looking for a tidy affordable little place without any hassle, this is the one!
