I cannot say enough good things about the Roost! It was so clean, cozy, and had everything I needed and more. The amenities were top notch and the beds were super comfy. Being on the farm was so peaceful. I really enjoyed sitting on the porch with the two adorable kitties who “guard” the Roost. They were such good company and basically went everywhere I did outside. I was honestly sad to say goodbye to them. Getting to feed and pet the goats was a treat. They were so cute and funny. Also, the glass works shop was so darn cool! I loved getting to learn about all of it. I will 100% be staying at the Roost every time I go back to Hattiesburg.

Cozy place near town but with an out-in-the country atmosphere. Loved it! We were in the area for a two-day festival in nearby Oak Grove. This was the perfect place to stay without all the hustle and bustle of staying in the busy college town of Hattiesburg, but close enough to make a quick trip to town for a nice meal at one of the many eating places. As working vendors at the festival, this place was just right to get rested before the next day's business. I can't go without mentioning the friendly farm worker who showed us around and let us help him feed the goats. And of course the two barn cats who "guarded" over us. All-in-all, if you're looking for a smaller, clean location where you will feel safe, you can't go wrong if you stay here.

Such a great place to stay! We loved everything about the place, from the kitties that welcomed us to talking with Jeremy and his business partner. The location is super quiet and the air conditioner is ice cold. If we are going back through the area again we will definitely be booking. It would be fun to go when the glass blowing is open, we just missed the end of the season. Thank you Jeremy for a safe and pleasant stay!

My sisters and I loved our stay. Incredibly clean and great-quality amenities with more than enough of what we needed. For being a studio-style space, the room is larger than it seems in the pictures and easily accommodated our group. The property is beautiful and Jeremy is a fantastic host.

We loved this stay and would love to be back! The unit was SPOTLESS and really thoughtfully designed and equipped, and the farm and glass blowing is super interesting.
