I don't have enough compliments to describe my experience in Diego's lodging. From the very first minute I felt an effusive welcome full of all kinds of attentions. Diego's mother, Doña Laura, welcomed me and my family with a typical local breakfast and was always proactive in seeking to improve our experience (don't hesitate to talk to Diego and his family, they are very kind and helpful people). The property itself is located about 200m from Cangrejal beach, you can go by foot. There is also fabulous pizzeria (Costa) just around the corner and affordable supermarkets nearby. The apartment is equipped with everything you might need: cable tv, internet, appliances and two air conditioning units that will make your stay very comfortable even on the hottest days. Here's my advice: if you are going to Samara, Carillo, Nicoya or even Nosara, go ahead and book with this beautiful family. You won't regret it. And to you Diego and Laura, thank you once again. ¡Pura vida!

Meine Freunde und mir hat die Unterkunft sehr gefallen. Alles war sauber und alle Geräte haben gut funktioniert. Wir wurden eines Morgen sogar mit einen Morgenessen begrüsst! sehr süss.

We loved the walkable location and the restaurant (cheap and great comida tipico) at the end of the street with view of the horses and the beach beyond. We chose this place because it is locally owned. Some amenities westerners have come to expect, like a safe and a binder filled with things to do in the area are not yet provided. However, we felt part of the community and enjoyed being close to town and beach and still have a quiet place to stay. I recommend it.
