Church View is our cosy holiday cottage in the village of Askrigg in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. We hope you will love it too when you return home from a days walk or trip over the moors to sit beside the fire and look out across the church yard to the village centre From the entrance hall for boots and coats you enter a spacious sitting room with seating for all around a woodburning stove. A well equipped kitchen with recently installed units and a new floor leads off from one side. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms. One is a very large main bedroom for the size of cottage and the other is just big enough to take a double bed. The bathroom is tiled all around and has a bath with shower over head. The large heated towel rail keeps the room and towels warm and dry. The hall way, sitting room and the two bedrooms each have new electric wall heaters and with double glazing throughout, it is a warm house. There is a pathway along the front of the cottage that has a bench for you to sit with a cup of tea and listen to the starlings imitating curlew.
