My month long stay was nice. It’s a small little spot- good for one person. The main resident, Robert, is super nice and friendly. I didn’t explore much as I work long hours and mostly came back just to sleep, so I can’t speak on that. The walls are super thin so I suggest ear plugs depending on who is in the unit next to you. Crystal was super kind and ordered a whole thing for me because the current tenants were extremely loud- they moved out and I got a new neighbor and didn’t need to use them once! He was super quiet and respectful. So the thin walls are not an issue at all if you have respectful neighbors ;) I loved the interior decor. I do recommend bringing a space heater if you get cold along with your own blankets.

I stayed here for a film job. It was excellent. It was exactly what I wanted.. off the beaten path, but just off the beaten path. Close to freeway access.. Walkable to a bunch of little coffee shops, and restaurants because it is close to University. There is an MMA gym down the street that I could walk to that I signed up for, for a month which allowed me to stay in shape. I enjoy the minimalist design. My job is very stressful, and I found this place very calming to come back to after work. My favorite thing about this place, is that it’s just south of this great restaurant called Armon’s. Which is one of the last classic LA diners. They have absolutely everything I went there almost every day for 30 days and I never got the same thing twice. If you are feeling fancy, then you can go to a place called Penny Oven around the corner from Armon’s which has incredible omelettes and fantastic coffee. Crystal was very helpful and super responsive host . She made everything easy.
