This stunning barn conversion, situated in a quiet village just 9 miles from Blackpool, is perfect for your family – including up to two four-legged members! Sleeping six across three spacious bedrooms, and with plenty of space for the pups to snooze, it won’t be long before you’re up and about exploring the large shared grounds. Take a walk around the pond or do some fishing, or simply hide away in the wildlife area watching the world go by. The dogs will be happy since the owners lay on a hamper for them, so they get a little bit of luxury, too. The property, which is one of two on the owners’ grounds, is bright and welcoming. The open-plan living area has the perfect mix of traditional farmhouse style and contemporary design, thanks to exposed beams and plush furnishings. Relax on the sofa in front of the wood burner with your hounds by your feet, or head to the games room to unwind. Upstairs, the bedrooms lend a boutique feel to your stay; throw open the French doors to the balcony in the mornings to enjoy your morning coffee over the views. Or enjoy the games / cinema room with its projector screen, pool table and table tennis table. For a quick bite and some free doggy treats, pop to the local pub just 2 miles down the road in Hambleton, and there’s also a shop for essentials. Lakeside Bistro is a short walk away if you fancy a spot of lunch. But if you want to venture further, Blackpool is 9 miles away and features the famous Pleasure Beach that kids and adults love; meanwhile, the dogs will enjoy unleashing everything on the sandy beaches. If you prefer city life, visit Lancaster (17 miles) and wander on a self-guided walking tour to learn about its history. On a clear day, head to Beacon Fell (19 miles) to see as far as Blackpool and Morecambe Bay.
