Tamer’s place was amazing! The most peaceful place I’ve stayed in my month journey through Egypt. I took a short and enchanting boat ride to arrive at the airbnb. The space was so beautifully designed and decorated, was clean and has a really good vibe. I also loved the awareness around sustainability and not using plastic. The meals were so healthy and tasted absolutely divine. My body feels so good here! I also loved the fresh daily juices. The people are so friendly—the friendliest I’ve met during my journeys through Egypt. I really enjoyed visiting sacred sites and shops in the local area. Tamer helped me to set up guides/boat rides etc. I already can’t wait to come back!

Tamer est un superbe hôte! Très réactif et accueillant. L’endroit est très paisible et magnifique, tant le logement que le paysage environnant. Idéal pour se reposer et profiter du Nil. Le logement est propre, agréable et surtout très beau. Je recommande fortement!

Would leave 6/5 rating if I could. Definitely plan to return one day. Very friendly staff and accommodating. Delicious food (raised the bar for local restaurants for sure) and sometimes the highlight of the day. Amazing time if you’re looking to just relax and enjoy some peace and quiet.

Tamer is a wonderful host and his small guesthouse built in nubian style facing the river is lovely. The atmosphere is authentic and we got to meet many interesting people on the terrace of their restaurant. We also got to spend New Year’s Eve with Tamer, his friends and family and other nice guests and everything was perfectly organized with delicious food and nubian singing and dancing. The rooms are tasteful and comfortable. Tamer will help with anything you need, both at the house and in Aswan or any other activity. Highly recommended!
