Ideal for vacation. We spent the whole week in the quarry. It’s ideal. Great to explore and relax in. The house is clean and well equipped. I am a tough critic and I can honestly say I had no complaints. The industrial fans were great for hot days, and the house had everything we needed to BBQ, cook breakfast and play all week. Hardly any bugs either! The open layout is fun and promotes true family time. It is a gem of a place and we can’t wait to visit again.

Sharon was a great host and very responsive. The property is beautiful and a short drive from Rockland and Camden. The house is in need of multiple repairs and updated furniture which are exacerbated by COVID and the ability to source help.

My husband and I spent a lovely week here with our friends and our dogs. The location is beautiful- the house truly takes your breath away when you arrive and is much more beautiful than it appears in the listing. Kitchen is well stocked. Only thing I would say could be better are the sitting areas. The couches upstairs and in the living area downstairs are super uncomfortable so we didn’t spend a lot of time just hanging out there. Location is great and overall an awesome house.

This is a magical place; you can look out to the sea and Rockland harbor in the morning sun, then walk to the other end of the house and look at the beautiful reflections on the quarry. It feels very private, yet is close to grocery, restaurants, and interesting coastal towns.

We had a wonderful time at The Quarry House! The view is incredible and having a private quarry for swimming and kayaking was super special. Also amazing were the number of outdoor decks/sitting areas. The major one faced the quarry but there were also areas that faced the ocean (see in the distance.) The house was very spacious and offered a very nice open floorplan. The kitchen had everything we needed to do some cooking and the outdoor grill was a bonus! Sharon was outstanding to work with. She was highly communicative and very kind!
