Bright and quiet room, overlooking the garden and bird bath. Perfect for a solo traveller to stay and read or write in between trips to Pakington Street cafes or nearby beaches. This is your private space, with comfortable double sofa bed, good sized desk and closet space. This room is also suitable for children. Pets on request if they get along with cats (the neighbour). The larger private, Queen-sized Garden Room is more suitable for couples, especially for longer stays. The rest of the house will be shared with me if I’m around or possibly another guest, and the visiting neighbour cat, Gyra. The living space is beautiful and light and open plan. There is ample space for someone to sit in the reading nook, while someone works from the desk, eats from the dining table or cooks in the kitchen. Two outdoor areas create more space for guests too: backyard is fenced and mostly decking. Front yard has a beautiful garden with birds and flowers and is beautiful to watch from the patio during sunsets. The kitchen is recently renovated with induction cooktop and all modern conveniences. Standard bed setup is a comfortable pullout double bed. Room size is best for one adult, up to two children, or couples for short stays.
