This beautiful end-terrace cottage is located on a quiet village road overlooking thatched cottages on the edge of the village. Situated in Burton Bradstock, it benefits from having a local shop and two pubs within 300 metres, as well as Hive Beach less than a mile away, making it perfect for a family or group wishing to leave the car behind for a few days. Inside is immaculate accommodation, combining character features – like ceiling beams, window seats and wooden flooring – with modern additions. The sitting/dining room has been designed with socialising in mind, with comfy seating around the wood burner and a lovely farmhouse-style dining table for special meals together. The kitchen has a countryside feel, with wooden worktops and a Belfast sink, and enjoys views over the garden. There’s also a family bathroom on this floor. Upstairs, there are three well-proportioned bedrooms – a double, a twin and a single (with 3ft x 5ft 9 single bed) - all enjoying lovely views. A shower room ensures everyone has space to get ready in the morning. The outside of this property is where it really comes into its own. A sunny cottage-style garden extends 80ft, with a courtyard, terraces and a summer house giving plenty of opportunity to enjoy this space whatever the weather. Parking is available on the village lane near the property. After spending time by the beach and on the South West Coast Path, head to Bridport (3 miles), where you can visit the twice-weekly market to pick up some bargains or a souvenir from the trip. 2 miles away from the cottage is the resort of West Bay, with its working harbour and popular restaurants making it well worth a visit.
