Came for the solar eclipse, the beautiful views here added to a great trip. The cabin was clean, well equipped, and comfortable. Will stay again if I come back to the area!

A comfortable house perched on a remote(ish) hilltop surrounded by trees and hills, peaceful and quiet. That sounds ideal to me and that’s what this house delivers. All traditional and modern essentials are provided which made it easy to feel at home right away. The mattresses felt new and comfortable, Internet service seemed fast, and all the appliances worked. The filtered rainwater tasted great! The pictures in the listing show the place as it is, not “posh” but clean, comfortable, private, quiet, and altogether pleasant.

Definitely recommend the stay if you are looking for the perfect secluded getaway! My wife and kids did not want to leave! The cabin felt like Home! Will definitely be back!

Misty Mountain Cabin: Scenic Escape, Caddo River, is a wonderfully equipped cabin with breathtaking views. Set high in the mountains, this remote cabin is quiet and is perfectly positioned to watch whitetail deer graze as you listen to the rhythmic sounds of woodpeckers and owls as the sun sets among several distant mountain peaks. My wife and I love mountain cabins, and this is one we would definitely return to!

The view was definitely worth the drive up the mountain. For us it was worth the 40-minute drive to Crater of Diamonds State Park. We feel rested and relaxed which is exactly what we needed. Thank you.
