Nestling in an idyllic spot on the tranquil southern coast of the Isle of Wight, this stylish, bright and welcoming apartment offers breathtaking sea views and makes a fabulous retreat for up to four guests. This light and relaxing property is set in a charming spot on the outskirts of the thriving seaside town of Ventnor, and is perfect for a small family looking for a spacious getaway or for a couple seeking a romantic break. Accessed via a charming footbridge-style gravel path, this peaceful cottage features a fresh and inviting lounge which is ideal for sitting back in at the end of a great day, complete with comfortable seating, TV/DVD, an Xbox and breath taking sea views. You can prepare and share all your favourite family meals in the thoughtfully designed kitchen/diner, which also has wonderful sea views and a range of useful equipment and utensils. There are also two fresh, cosy and beautifully decorated bedrooms, each with an en-suite shower room: a master bedroom with super king-size bed, and a cheerful, nautically-themed twin room. Patio doors lead out from the lounge and onto the balcony. With panoramic vistas across the sea, the balcony offers ever-changing views and makes a delightful spot to enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening. Ventnor is famous for its beautiful beach, traditional promenade and historic harbour, and has a wealth of excellent restaurants, pubs and shops. Attractions in the town include the Botanic Gardens, the Heritage Centre, Steephill Cove, the spectacular Cascade Gardens and the picturesque harbour. Heading north you can visit the Amazon World Zoo (6 miles), the Isle of Wight Zoo (7 miles), the popular Model Village in Godshill (5.5 miles) and the beautiful Shanklin Beach (4.5 miles). You can also follow the coast westwards to Blackgang Chine and St Catherine's Down (both within 7 miles).
